Engine & Exterior
¨ | Clean the entire vehicle including wheel arches and underbody |
¨ | Fill washer fluid, anti-freeze & fuel tank |
¨ | Fully inflated tyres |
¨ | Fold out windscreen wipers so they are not resting on the surface |
¨ | Cover vents or place winter covers on |
¨ | Lubricate locks & hinges |
¨ | Leave the motorhome in gear and remove the handbrake |
¨ | Drain water tanks inc toilet flush and boiler |
¨ | Disconnect/remove battery |
¨ | Disconnect gas bottles and store them safely. Shut off onboard tanks |
¨ | Place security deterrent and initiate alarm/tracker |
¨ | Place a purpose-made, breathable cover over the motorhome or caravan |
Interior
¨ | Empty of belongings and remove valuables |
¨ | Wind out the awning, clean it thoroughly and let it dry |
¨ | Thorough cleaning inside and out |
¨ | Remove all traces of food |
¨ | Leave doors ajar, including fridge & freezer |
¨ | Remove soft furnishings if possible or place them upright |
¨ | Wipe & disinfect surfaces including the bathroom |
¨ | Apply tank cleaner |
¨ | Open all drain taps, sink taps and valves |
¨ | Remove the shower head and leave to dry out |
